Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Tami has provided psychiatric care as an advanced practice provider since 2010. Prior to that, she worked as a critical care nurse. In her practice at MHCS, Tami listens intently to her clients, giving each individual her full attention. She then gathers helpful information and works together with her clients to create a treatment plan. Recognizing that small changes can greatly improve a person's quality of life, Tami strives to help each client move towards the larger goals of health and happiness.
Her PracticeTami provides both medication management and therapy services at MHCS. She has worked with a multitude of populations and is experienced in managing many different symptoms. She is available Mondays and Friday, with evening appointments available upon request.

Tami has her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Degree from Dakota Weslyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota, and a Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree from SDSU. She also has a Masters of Science in Nursing Education Degree from the University of Phoenix and a degree as a Clinical Nurse Leader from the University of Florida. Tami obtained a Post Master's degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida.
