Becoming a CPR instructor is a great and noble goal. You help many people learn this valuable tool that can save lives. At Health Counseling Services near Minneapolis, we welcome current CPR instructors and other interested in becoming CPR instructors to join our Training Center. We have been an approved American Heart Association Training Center since 2005.
As a nurse owned organization, we are grateful to form connections with a broad and diverse group of professionals who are committed to delivering life-saving American Heart Association training to the local community.

American Heart Association CPR Instructor Training
To become a CPR instructor, one must have a strong desire to serve others, especially during medical emergencies, and the ability to teach others. Formal training is required to become a CPR instructor. You can obtain the necessary training in our classroom near Minneapolis.
An experienced training center faculty member who teaches the CPR instructor course will provide students with the knowledge and tools they need to perform the proper procedures to deliver emergency care to individuals experiencing sudden breathing or heart problems. CPR instructors who teach American Heart Association courses must be able to effectively evaluate their students’ performance.
