It is important for leaders and managers to understand what inspires, motivates and encourages employees. This course will offer opportunities to consider, discuss and practice strategies to improve employee performance, including;

  • how to gain buy-in
  • setting people up for success with the right tools and knowledge
  • asking for opinions and listening to the answers to support healthy innovation
  • how to give helpful feedback

Video/audio taping of courses is prohibited

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the course.  The course fee will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 24 hours.  Registration is transferable to another person.

About the instructor

Karen Lilla, RN, MSN, is the Director of Education at Health Counseling Services. She is a registered nurse, with over a decade of experience in the community health field. Karen earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing Management and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.  An enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor, Karen delivers course material in an engaging and approachable way, allowing students to gain confidence in both their knowledge and skills.
