CPR Training

- When and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Good Samaritan laws
First Aid Training
As part of First Aid training, participants can expect to learn the following:
- How to provide immediate care until more advanced care takes over
- Preventative measures that can be taken to minimize the chance of injury
- Steps that can be taken to find the problem
- How to help in different medical emergencies, including heart attack, stroke or seizures
- How to help someone who has experienced an injury emergency, including external bleeding, shock or burns
- How to help someone who has experienced an environmental emergency, including animal bites, cold-related emergencies and heat-related emergencies
